He has witnessed the struggles of hard-working individuals and families grappling with the rising cost of living, the strain on the NHS due to increasing demand and limited resources, and the difficulties local businesses encounter in a competitive market. He is also acutely aware of the environmental neglect threatening our future.

Liz Kendall, representing Leicester West since 2010, currently serves as the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions in the Labour Party.

Kendall’s approach to international issues like the Israeli-Palestinian have resulted in criticism from her constituents, she abstained from votes in support of the recognition of a state of Palestine and abstained from the recent vote in support of a ceasefire.

Some of her constituents are also disputed over her stance on internal Labour Party matters and her comments in Parliament, which have sparked discussions about respect for key workers in different sectors.
